My child has 6 of these. He has been wearing the 4T size for the last 2 winters and they will fit this winter as well. 3 years for a shirt for a growing preschooler!!!!!! Unheard of! The shirts look exactly the same as they did the day they arrived. Incredibly durable and sized long in the arms and length. We buy 2 for every winter and could not be happier. I wish I had only ever bought these. He wears the size 5 and 6 as regular shirts and can still fit in the 4T as a base layer. I cannot recommend them enough. Seriously super durable.

Love how kids clothes are made to last past one season. Both pants and shirts are long enough to have 2yrs out of them!

So soft and a perfect weight

I love these shirts and will definitely be investing in more. They are versatile for layering or wearing on their own.

For skiing and sleeping

We got a complete base layer mostly because it went well under a Halloween costume and I hoped it would be helpful cross country skiing also. My daughter LOVES it and has already gotten my money's worth in one season. She wore it skiing but quickly started wearing as PJs and "to be cozy" at home. It has been holding up great (though I don't wash it often). We sized up so it will last more winters.

very nice, but stretches out

I love merino tanks/undershirts. This one stretches out after wearing it for a day and it stays stretched out until washing. I don't like to wash wool too often, so it feels a bit too big most of the time (until it has been washed and shrunk back to its original size). The fabric under the armpits also flares out, so this makes it a bit loose under the arms. It would be nice if it were more snug in this area. A friend of mine also made the same comment about these tank tops (she has the same ones as I do).

Care

Note: Merino wool is naturally odor & stain resistant, no need to frequently wash.

Machine wash on delicate cycle with warm/cool water.

Mild soap. Do not use bleach.

Wool wash is recommended, Eucalan

Hang dry, best to lay flat to help retain shape.

Fabric

Designed and made in Canada.

  • 100% Australian Merino wool

Details

Designed to fit fairly snug, Simply Merino thermal tops are designed to be versatile.  Wear it with jeans, under a jumper or as a thin layer under all of your kid's favourite activity gear. The natural fabric breathes, helping control body temperature, and wicks moisture away from the skin keeping bodies dry and warm.

The thermal tops in the larger sizes (7/8, 9/10, & 11/12) were designed with thumb holes to keep wrists well covered as well.

NOTE: Price is for top only - the pants are sold separately so you can mix and match colour and sizes.
